We had another busy day today. In reading we read the story "Dragons and Giants" and we reviewed the vocabulary words- trembling, avalanche, brave, afraid, and We also looked the words up and used them in sentences of our own. In grammar we started to learn about adjectives. In math we began to review for the Chapter 8 test, which is Thursday. We worked a lot on rounding to the nearest 100. We also worked on a packet that I have prepared. That will go home tomorrow, so you can use it to help study. Also, test folders are going home today. They contain two math quizzes which will also help you prepare for the test. I posted the review to my blog this morning and a hard copy is in today's red folder. In religion we continued in Chapter 26- taking care of God's creations. Today is social studies we talked about land forms and maps. We also did a Scholastic News Magazine- about specific land forms in the United States.
